Max's Weekend At Macau

We took the kids to Macau one weekend.  It was their summer holiday get-away.  Even though we've been to the hotel and stayed at the family suite.  This time we went with friends, and Max had a lot of fun just hanging out with his buddies.  Here's a great photo of him jumping into the pool with Mikayla and Casey

Ashley Makes Her Debut

We realized that this blog has not been updated since we found out that we were expecting baby #2.  To say that we've been busy is an understatement.  Things got even busier when Ashley safely came home.  She turns 2 months tomorrow.  However, being premature, we actually need to go by her corrected age for her developments.  Well so far she's not sleeping through the night and drinking milk every 3 hours.  The only thing close to a 2 months old is her resemblance to big brother Max.  Ashley is a split image of Max at 2 months.  We can't wait to see what she looks like after 3 months.  Can you tell which one is Max and which one is Ashley?

Max learning how to use chopsticks

We bought Max a pair of kiddy chopsticks and he's getting really good at it, just the first day!  Max is also becoming a better eater.  He knows what he likes and doesn't like to eat, and when he's hungry, he's eating a lot.  And when he's done or full, he gets up and says in Mandarin, "I'm full, thank you"  So proud of our little boy!

First day of school!

Well it's not the first day, but Max loves school!  Here are a few photos taken of Max last week while he's waiting for the school bus.  Max really enjoys going to school for 3 hours in the afternoon.  His best friend is a girl named Caroline who used to sit next to him.  His teacher is Ms. Chan and he thinks that all teachers are called "Ms. Chan"  He goes to school half day now but come Sept, he'll be going to school full day.  I hope he'll still enjoy it as much as he does now.  When Max began going to school, we were really worried how he was going to adjust.  He adjusted very well from the beginning.  We'd used to ask him how was school, and he'd tell us, "Many many friends, many many teachers".  He loves taking the school bus as well.  When he sits down, he usually looks for mommy and waves good bye.  Sometimes he sits down and just starts talking to the girl who sits next to him and completely ignores mommy.  I guess mommy better get used to it because that's how things are going to be...
